At Late Bar...
In order to enter Late Bar you must prove you are 21 years of age or
older by showing legal identification at the door regardless if you appear to be over the age of 21.
We only accept the following forms of Identification:
- a valid state drivers license
We do not accept any other form of ID and we do not accept expired IDs or tickets. If you have an out-of-state ID, which is the most commonly forged, you
may be required to show additional proof of identification if you appear
to be under the age of 40. Please be prepared to show additional ID (credit card, check book, etc)
if your hairstyle or features have changed since you had your ID photo
taken. We reserve the right to ask for three (3) additional forms of
identification. This is a private establishment and we reserve the right to refuse entry
for any reason.
No ID, No Entry, No Exceptions. (This includes relatives, friends, bar regulars, people who work in bars, neighbors, civil servants, and "famous" people). Have your ID ready to be checked at the door. All transactions are being recorded.
We are B.A.S.S.E.T. certified. We will not admit anyone who appears to be over-served and we will stop liquor service before patrons become over-served. We are happy to offer those patrons a free non-alcoholic beverage. Our door staff would be happy to call a cab for you.
Our neighbors and our neighborhood are very important to us. Please respect our property and our neighbors' property when you visit. Please park on Belmont Ave. and not the residential side streets. Please help us keep Avondale clean and quiet by picking up your trash and keeping noise levels low when you are outside.
Illinois state law prohibits smoking inside our establishment. Please help us keep our street clean by using the provided ash trays. Please keep quiet when you are entering and exiting the building or outside smoking.
Late Bar is committed to providing a comfortable and safe atmosphere for all of our guests; if you see undesirable behavior on or around our property, please report it to a staff member and we will do our best to resolve the problem.
We attend our neighborhood CAPS meetings and we will call the police.
Thank you in advance for respecting our business and our neighborhood.
